Disabling Incoming Attachments

In the Enterprise Admin Console, you may want to apply enterprise-wide application controls that apply to all users, regardless of assigned application roles. On the Application Roles page in the Roles & Permissions module, you can specify enterprise-wide application controls to prevent delivery of any incoming message or email that contains attachments. This topic describes how to disable incoming messages that contain attachments of any type.

To disable incoming messages with attachments

  • On the Application Roles page in the Roles & Permissions module in the Enterprise Admin Console, in the Enterprise wide application rules section, select Disable all incoming attachments.

The Setting successfully updated message is displayed at the top of the page.
