Update your Account Password

To update your password on a smartphone:

  1. On the Messenger Home screen, click the Profile ProfileIcon.png tab.


  2. On the Profile  screen, tap Edit on the top right corner of the screen. Options to modify your account and profile settings are displayed.

  3. Tap Change Password, and then on the Change Password screen, enter your Current Password and New Password, and then save the new password.

Note: If you are a company Messenger user and your company has enabled Single Sign-On for all users in your company domain, the Change Password feature is not available.

On Desktop for Web or the Desktop App, click your user menu at the bottom of the Home page, and then click the Account  icon. On the Account dialog, in the Options section, click Change Password, and then update your password.
