Analytics Module Overview

The Analytics module in the Enterprise Admin Console provides a snapshot of Messenger user and team account usage, storage consumption and volume of traffic by message type, along with system auditing and logging events.

On the Activity Report page, you can view graphical reports on user, team, group, and room activities in your company, as well as bot usage by type and activity.

The Audit Report page displays the history of all administrative tasks with attributes such as User, Date/Time, and Description for the event. The Audit Report page also displays other events such as user log on failure, access by a user to eDiscovery search results, and much more.

In This Module

The Analytics module consists of the following two pages:

  • Activity Report Page

    On the Activity Report page in the Analytics module of the Enterprise Admin Console, you can view graphical and statistical date for your Messenger account usage activity. You can use the analytical information about your account to make informed decisions to manage and administer managed users and managed teams as well as your message policy for your organization. The Activity Report page shows you the type of information, such as video, text, and images, that are shared between your company users, unmanaged users, and external users.

  • Audit Report Page

    On the Audit Report page in the Enterprise Admin Console in the Analytics module, you can view system and user-generated events. For example, a system-generated event could be a periodic Microsoft® Active Directory® Sync. An example of a user-generated event could be the addition of a new user. Using the controls on Audit Report page you can select event categories, events and time periods to drill-down and filter events as needed. audit reports also list error messages that can help you to troubleshoot system issues or when you create a service request.
