On the Retention page in the Kore Compliance module, in the Enterprise Admin Console, you can define retention policies for messages sent by managed users in your domain to other managed users and groups in your domain, and users external to your domain. By default, message retention is disabled. The topic describes how to enable message retention, modify the default retention period, and if desired, define and manage custom message retention policies for specific user and groups.
The following illustration is an example of the Retention page in the Compliance module with retention enabled.
On the Retention page in the Compliance module in the Kore Enterprise Admin Console, the fields and controls are displayed based on whether message retention is enabled or not. The list of entries in an admin console table can be very large depending on the size of your company, for example, a list of users or spaces. To find one or more specific users, groups, or spaces, in the Search field, enter at least three characters to begin find-as-you-type. For example, enter ra and any matching entries are displayed as shown in the following illustration.
Note: The number of search terms in a search query is unlimited, however, no more than the first 20 characters of each search term is used to return search results.
To view all entries, clear the search field, and then press the Enter key.
Click the button to view the Define a Custom Retention Policy dialog. For more information, see Create a Custom Retention Policy.
The following table describes the columns in the Custom Retention Policies section.
|Rule Name||Displays custom retention policy name. The policies are listed in an alphabetical order.|
|Retention Time||Displays the custom retention time period.|
|Created By/On||Displays date of custom policy creation along with author name.|
